Where is my journal kept?
On your iPhone. When iCloud Drive is on for Lately, a copy is kept in your own iCloud too. We never hold a copy.
I have a new iPhone. How do I bring my journal?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, make sure iCloud Drive is on, and install Lately. Your journal comes back by itself.
Can I bring the journal I already keep?
Yes. Day One, Apple Journal, Journey, Daylio and Diarium exports all work. Export your journal from the old app, then choose the file in Lately. Each entry lands on the day it was written, with its photos. Using something else? Tell us which app.
Can I take everything out?
Always, and always free. Your words, photos and voices export as plain files any app can open.
How do I change or cancel a subscription?
Purchases go through the App Store. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Everything you made stays yours either way.
How do I delete my journal?
Delete Lately from your iPhone, then remove its folder from iCloud Drive. Nothing is left anywhere else.
